Teryl Rothery is an actor from Canada, who has appeared on television, stage as well as in films. Janet Fraiser is her most famous character in Stargate SG-1. The actress was also the main character in Cedar Cove's Grace Sherman, as well being a part of significant roles, including Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring, in Arrow and Celia Hudson, in Nancy Drew. She has been involved in numerous TV films. Rothery began dancing at nine years old, and was able to consider 1995 to be the year she began her career as an entertainer. The first of her professional performance opportunities as a performer were in the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13[3] and in the Marpole Community Theatre's production of The Sound of Music at age 14. As a youth she was a dancer on The Irish Rovers variety television series. Then, at 18, she first appeared on the television screen with a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television special for Halloween.
