Alanis Nadine was born on the 1st of June 1974, in Ottawa, Canada. Alanis' Greek is a female version of the name Alan's father's. Her mother's name is Georgia and there are two brothers named Chad and Wade (Alanis"Twin"). She started playing piano and guitar at the age of turned 21.
