Jill Hennessy
She's a native Edmontonian who has Irish, Italian and Swedish origins, in addition to French Ukrainian French as well as Swedish. The twin sister of her, Jacqueline is also an actress. Jill began to master several languages, such as Italian, French, Spanish, as she was growing as a child. After she turned twelve years young, she began to become interested in performing. She began her acting career in Toronto as she was the escort for David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. Following her improv classes with Deb Kimmet in Second City, she began her acting career in Toronto. Following her move into New York, Claire signed a contract for two years with Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. The actress also appeared in films like RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) over the course of her three-year stint. The years following, she landed roles in a series of forgettable flicks. However, in 1999 she landed a starring position in the miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin. Roles in major productions including Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. In 2001, she was offered her first lead role on the crime drama on NBC Crossing Jordan and in 2007, she won a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Actress in a Drama Series" due to her role in the series. She got married in 2000 to her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. Together, they have two children. In 2007 She was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame.
