Lizzo

LizzoLizzo joined a rock group called prog, in which she sang and occasionally played the flute. Her family relocated to Denver which meant she was all on the road on her own, trying to launch her career in Houston. Lizzo was a car owner and would sometimes sleep on the floor of her studio. She also used her gym to shower in the fitness center. Her father passed away when she was just twenty-one. It was a tragic loss for the two of them, since they were extremely close. Lizzo quit the prog-rock group in the year 2010 following her father's death. After a short stop in Denver in 2010, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis on the advice of a friend in the year 2011. Lizzo was soon immersed in the city's music scene. She was part of the girl groups Chalice as well as GRRRL PRETY. Her debut album, Lizzobangers, was released in 2013 on an independent label.
