Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's a singer/actress from the USA. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier), an RN, and Tom Bell, a television news director. Kristen is born in Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent in the performing arts from an early age on stage. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled to become an agent was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. In addition to having private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell made an appearance on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell was a member of the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school, and she was awarded the role of Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater upon graduating. Bell quit university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the was the same year that she also was the first to be credited in Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell made an appearance with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
