LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely thought of as the best athlete of all time and has often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James has won four NBA championships four NBA MVP awards and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is second in highest number of career goals, and the seventh-highest assists. He has been selected for the NBA All Star team 18 times. James is part of the NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams, and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times in a row between 2011 and 2018, James was also chosen to be on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. James has been chosen for his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have attained 10,000 points or more as well as rebounds and assists in his career in 2022. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. The school was recognized by national media as the future NBA super star. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly established himself as one of the top league players and was awarded the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to become a member of the Miami Heat this was announced in the television special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices throughout sports history.
