Bella Poarch is a Filipino born to biological Filipino parents. The birth of her daughter was on in February 9th in 1997. Her mother was on the streets until her three-year-old age when she was taken to a foster home. The family she adopted is consisting of an Filipino adoptive mom and an white American military veteran. She says she and her adopted brother were subjected to abuse since she was young before she joined the military. For the purpose of moving to Texas after she reached 13, her family spent several months staying in San Francisco to stay with her aunt. The physical attack was less severe, however she was still dealing with her father's psychological abuse in the home. When she was 18, Poarch enlisted into the United States Navy. Poarch opened her TikTok account in April of 202020. The account grew quickly to fame, amassing over 40 million followers within just eight months. Her biggest success was her video for the hit Millie B track Soph Aspin Send. The video became one of the TikTok's most viewed videos. The clip zoomed in on her dancing as well as lip-syncing with the song became a viral hit. In the months after joining TikTok she started an account on YouTube as well as a Twitter account to take advantage of the fame. The popularity of Poarch grew exponentially in November 2020. According to the reports that she was the subject of two professional Esports teams' interest. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in hiring her as a creator of content under the respective brands.
